A very old Beech tree after leaf off

Expecting 3-5 inches of rain tonight and Tuesday; should be some spectacular waterfalls and pour-offs on Wednesday and Thanksgiving. Looking forward to exploring the creeks and streams. Pictured below is a very old Beech Tree, I saw in the Little Buffalo bottoms near the Shiloh cutoff road; now bare of leaves:
