Saturday morning the temperature was 20 degrees at dawn, but warmed to about 60 degrees by afternoon. Lots of work around the house. A loose piece of gable siding replaced, Bluebird houses cleaned out and put back up (have 2 pairs of Bluebirds already); new LP heating stove installed in family room; workbench set up. Had a nice dinner at the Arkansas House Restaurant. On Sunday, I continued the house work and hiked the BRT (Buffalo River Trail) from Ponca to Steel Creek. Took a few shots with a point and shoot camera (posted below); saw bear scat on the trail, the river was beautiful; Two eagles fished while I walked. Went to Blue Mountain Bakery on Sunday evening for dinner and had the brisket sandwich with potato salad. Drove home Monday morning but stopped at the Osage Clay Works to buy some pottery dishes and cups on the way back.
