We got just 0.11 inches of rain yesterday (Sunday) here in the Little Buffalo River valley. Heavier storms passed just to the north and south of us; just southwest of us by about 5miles the rainfall total was 2.0 inches; this is “all good” for the watershed though. Any moisture that can replenish the ground water supply is a big plus in a drought; like the one we are in. The butterflies were out once again yesterday in the cooler and sunnier weather before the storms rolled in at about 2 PM. Took a few pictures and posted them below (a Monarch, a Spice Bush Swallowtail, a Red Spotted Purple and a Fritillary):
