I went over to Steel Creek yesterday. The river water is very low but extremely clear and has lost some of its emerald-aqua hue.The cold nights (which lower the algae in the water), lack of rain (suspended minerals settle) and lack of rainfall (no new detritus) have cause the clear column of water where the bottom can be seen in 10-15 of water or deeper:
