This beautiful hawk was hunting from a 150 year old red oak tree in my back yard. They are, of course, more common than either Red Shoulder or Sharp Shinned hawks. I got about 55 shots of him/her going after a vole (he/she was not successful) during the afternoon on February 15th, 2013.
