I spent about an hour watching this female Baltimore Oriole. She and her mate fed on ripe Mulberries for about 10 minutes, when, surprisingly, she began weaving a nest as he watched; I guess her instincts had taken over. These photos taken from 40′ in camouflage with a Canon 7D and a Canon EF300L f /2.8 IS with a Canon 1.4 TC – handheld.
