These leaf examples were found and photographed yesterday, 9/26/14, in the afternoon. These are only examples and most of the same trees are unchanged yet. The fog was thick this morning and we had to wait until 8;30 to take any photos. The final photo is of an Orchard Oriole in  a Sassafras Tree; all tasked with point and shoots.

We only received 1.5 inches of rain here in the Murray Valley near Parthenon. We were supposed to get twice as much but there was, but, it is supoosed to continue raining util Wedensday afternoon. So we will see. As it is the Buffalo River at Ponca and the Little Buffalo at Parthenon each came up over 4 feet insuring great floating next weekend and probably the weekend after.

There was a beautiful Orchard Oriole out in the rain in a rose bush this morning and I get a photo of him seemingly enjoying the cooler weather. Look at his black body and chestnut-orange breast and wing bars. Taken with a Canon 7D and a Canon EF300L f.2.8 Lens:
